Boilermate:

BOILERMATE® was designed and tested especially for your Miura once-through boiler. We are so confident in this product that when you use BOILERMATE®, we will guarantee your Pressure Vessel against failure due to corrosion. We are proud to say we are the only boiler manufacturer in the industry to offer a warranty of this nature. BOILERMATE® controls the corrosive ions without the need for additional harmful chemicals. This environmentally-friendly product supplements Miura’s other “green” benefits and provides our customers with the best water

Colormetry Hardness Detector:

Water hardness levels are typically checked manually through the use of chemical reagents, but such measurements are time-consuming and can result in incorrect readings. Colormetry solves all these problems by offering automated reagent injection, mixing, and evaluation integrated into the boiler control system. Miura’s Colormetry Hardness Detection System automatically monitors water quality to enable early detection of hardness leakage.

Steam as a Service:

Steam as a Service:

How Boiler Economizers Reduce Energy Consumption:

The first economizer, patented in 1845, was used to improve the efficiency of boilers used in steam engines for mills and factories. By the 20th century, almost all steam engine boilers included economizers as a standard feature.

Here, we will explain how modern economizers reduce energy consumption and improve boiler energy efficiency. We’ll also look at the main types of economizers and explain why they’re critical in modern boiler design.

Low Pressure Steam vs High Pressure Steam:

This article explains the key differences between high-pressure and low-pressure boilers. We’ll also consider when you might prefer a low-pressure steam boiler and when high-pressure steam boilers are required.

Finally, we’ll review some of the cutting-edge design features that make the most advanced modern boilers safer, more efficient, and more environmentally friendly than ever before.

What is a Boiler Turndown Ratio?

A boiler turndown ratio refers to the ratio between a boiler’s highest fire setting (maximum output) and lowest fire setting (minimum output).

Turndown ratios vary depending on the boiler. For example, if your boiler has a 3:1 turndown ratio, that means that at its lowest fire setting you will be operating at 33% of the boiler’s full capacity. If you have a 10:1 turndown, that means that at its lowest setting, your boiler is operating at 10% of its full capacity.

Steam Boilers 101

A steam boiler is a pressurized vessel that transfers heat to water to produce steam for a variety of applications.

This guide will provide a comprehensive and straightforward overview of what boilers do, how boilers function, and how to choose a safe, reliable and efficient steam boiler.
